This is where I'll be posting the 365 pictures I will take throughout the year of 2011, one each day.

[04.27.11] I'm in Blue Whales!
I must have heard that about a million times before this chicken little got to go to swimming lessons. It really started to get annoying: "Graham, tomorrow's swimming... Graham, TOMORROW'S SWIMMING!" over and over, but passing from "Bull Frogs" to "Blue Whales" really is quite an accomplishment. High five kiddo! For those who are wondering what's all this talk of sea-creatures (or pond creatures, in the case of the bull frogs), these are a few of the names the Red Cross has chosen for the swimming classes these days, instead of the impersonal old "Level 2" and "Level 3" system that I had just a few years back. Takes away some of the competition between the youngsters, I suppose. Anyhow, now yer clued in. ;)
[04.26.11] Come hail and high water
Hail over one inch in diameter pelted our house today for some little while with Windsor exclaiming all the while "CAN I GO OUTSIDE AND GET ONE!" And all of us replying, "Yes Windsor, as soon as the lightning stops..." Gotta love kids :) ...and CNY weather!
[04.25.11] Interstate 81 from a view up high
Thanks to a Level 4 parking place in the University Hospital parking garage, we (mom, dad and I) got see 81 from up high. It looks a lot different than when you're weaving between cars, rushing off to some appointment! :)

[04.24.11] He Is Risen!
Windsor and some friends singing at church today. Truly beautiful are the voices of children when singing for our Lord!
[04.23.11] How many tools does it take to open a young Coconut?
For us, a carpenter hammer, a rubber mallet, a santoku knife and two pairing knives were all we needed! Needless to say though, the coconut milk and meat were utterly, unbelievably delicious!
[04.22.11] WA...
I would conjecture that this Rochester building is for the Water Authority, but I like it better as Windsor Ardner. Love you kiddo! See, there's even a building named after you! :)
[04.21.11] Bird on a Wire
I promise this photo wasn't touched up at all! No photoshop, GIMP, or anything else. You can't recreate a good blue sky with any type of technology! This was straight from the memory card to this blog.
[04.20.11] Cardinal in the Grass
By far on of my favorite birds! I have to say though that these beautiful creatures are on of the most difficult to capture! That's when shooting from a car window comes into play. :)
[04.19.11] Apples!
Can you tell that the other apple half is also sliced into quarters? I am happy to say that I a really starting to get the hang of cooking.
[04.18.11] Pex and SharkBite = Plumber's Heaven
Plumbers rejoice! No more copper sweating nightmares! With Pex plastic piping and the brilliant SharkBite fittings, we have a revolutionized plumbing industry that's even more effective than it's predecessor, copper, not to mention cheaper.
P.S. Above are several SharkBite couplings before being used in a friend's basement we were working on.

[04.17.11] Another of my squirrelly friends
I told you that you'd be seeing some more of my backyard bro's, and I meant it. Ahh, I just love squirrels! God is one awesome Creator.
[04.15.11] Another shot from yesterday!
I liked the whole moon-and-sun-out-at-the-same-time idea so much that I am using another shot from yesterday for today's photo! I love the light on the trees from the setting sun and the glowing moon in the sky.
[04.14.11] My Lunar Friend In An Azure Sky
I was out for a walk on the time with my mom when we noticed the beautiful sky and moon! That's when the trusty 'ol Canon comes in handy!
[04.13.11] A couple of grumpy old men
Well, they're actually a couple of chayote squash, but I think they look like some toothy old guys. The taste: something between a cucumber, pear, apple, and zucchini. I like it!
[04.11.11] Squirrels!!!
I am ecstatic! My favorite animals are coming back around! Now that my dear friend is a sure sign of spring. I'll have you know though that this is not the last you'll be seeing of my backyard buddies.
[04.09.11] The Making Of Zucchini Noodles
Using some fresh, peeled zucchini and a turning slicer, raw zucchini noodles are a snap! And not to mention tasty! :)
[04.08.11] A Vegan Dinner!
On the table is Bulgar Surprise (bulgar is a grain similar to wheat), raw marinara sauce with raw zucchini noodles, Better-Than-Butter spread (see yesterday's post), vegan Alfredo sauce with marinated Shitaki mushrooms and more zucchini noodles, and a kale salad. One of the most succulent and scrumptious meals I've ever had! Who knew vegan could taste so good?
[04.07.11] Vegan, Raw, Better-Than-Butter Spread
This is the most tasty and delicious butter spread in the world, made up 100% raw and vegan ingredients. Why didn't I know about this before?
[04.06.11] First smoothie!
So this was actually taken yesterday, but I am still getting over how tasty that smoothie was, so I am sharing a shot from yesterday today. Food does strange things to me. Eh, not really.
[04.05.11] Vitamix!!!!!!
Today our new Vitamix 5200 came in the mail! Gotta love factory refurbished with a 7 year warranty! Green smoothies, here we come!
[04.04.11] Trees...again
OK, so I have been home for a day from PA, but I am still loving the shots I took in the woods, so again I post one of my best. I am coming to love close-ups and blurred backgrounds.
[04.01.11] So Much for Sunshine!
My dad was promising most confidently that Pennsylvania would have beautiful weather, so I consequently packed about 4 pairs of shorts, 5 tees, and one pair of jeans. You can imagine my chagrin when I wake the first morning to snow! :)
[03.31.11] The Ladybug Is Back!
For whatever reason, the ladybugs really seem to like hangin with me! Today I saw this guy, Pic (short for picayune), cruisin around on a black tee shirt of mine. Love you guys!

[04.16.11] Takeuchi Time!
This weekend I have had the privilege of learning to operate a hydraulic excavator! Digging holes and pulling trees are just a few of the many jobs machines like these can perform. Thanks to a good friend for letting me help on the job!
