Today I was working at my computer when the sound of machinery caught my attention. I finally went outside to find the source of the din, and I found this truck. At first I mistook it for a concrete truck, until it started spraying dirt. I must say, this is the first dirt truck I've ever seen!
I have always found the "pedxing" sign a bit odd, as far as the wording goes. I mean, isn't there a better way to say "people cross here" than some goofy texting-like abbreviation?
I was quite surprised at how well these two trucks were orchestrating the trade of some large, unwieldy wooden crate. Pretty cool though!
When driving by a remote car repair shop, I spied Mater (a character from Cars) hanging out on the corner!

While working at the NYS LEAH conference, there were some dry times between jobs and meals, so naturally, I had to find something to do, and my friend Aaron was a big help. Here we are trying to do a double pushup, with a 0% success rate. Oh well...
I seem to be liking the one-word titles with exclamation points. Anyhow, I saw this massive mound of mulch and thought how interesting a blog photo it would make. Actually, it isn't really a very interesting picture at all, but it serves for May 23. The twenty-third of May is never an interesting day, never has been, and probably never will be, as we all know.
I want to once again commemorate Valley Pool, Syracuse, NY, as the place I've learned to swim. As today is my last day of lessons, I thought I would take a shot of the exit sign in the locker room. I'll miss you Valley Pool!

I still can't figure out why people make it a habit to leave old tires out in remote places. The cost of dropping a load at the dump versus finding a place to dump is far lower. What people do to avoid the rules is interesting.
This is barley max drink (see hacres.com) with the drink mix still in the shape of the teaspoon floating on top. Surprisingly, when I tapped it with my finger to dissolve it, it was quite strong and didn't sink easily. Gotta love surface tension.

Today our new Vitamix 5200 came in the mail! Gotta love factory refurbished with a 7 year warranty! Green smoothies, here we come!
