[03.28.11] My little chemistry study-buddy

So there I was, cramming away at chemistry, when all of a sudden Lily the Ladybug (short for Lilliputian) arrives and begins to study chemistry with me.  Check back soon for some cool videos of her checkin out my textbook.  I love the little things in life! :)

[03.27.11] Starry Starry Night

On my way to hit the hay, a pretty night sky showed its face and pleased my eyes.  For you art enthusiasts, the title is a tribute to Van Gogh's masterpiece and one of my all-time favorites.

[3.26.11] Tenacious venison

My good friend Jeremy so kindly modeled a lovely rack for today's photo. Is he scary?  In my opinion, hardly. Who could resist such a charming visage? :D

[03.25.11] Welcome home, Mom!

My mom returned from a week-long stay at a wellness training center.  We are all very happy to have her home! :)
Note: due to me walking and trying to keep up with Windsor running to my mom's arms, there's some mild pixelation.  I decided to post it anyone though--you can't recreate the moment!

[03.23.11] A Blackbird Resting on Barren Branches

I love azure skies, and I find that a cool, crisp morning only accentuates the aforementioned.  Such was the case this morning.

[03.24.11] He lost at foosball...

No, he didn't lose a job or a loved one.  He lost a game of foosball to this highly clumsy foosball player.  I think I should stick with the random photographer thing. :)  Nevertheless, I beat this guy for the first (and probably last) time today, hence the weeping.  Ahhhh... how sweet is the smell of success, regardless of how ephemeral it may be!

I love you Windsor!

Some little munchkins are just too darn cute.  I think this one qualifies. :)

Tormentum's best friend

Tormentum and this guy are best buds (see Feb. 23's photo).  Somehow I am not in that circle of friends.  I feel more like their enemy! :)

[03.20.11] Bye bye, mom!

Today at 6 a.m. my mom left for a lifestyle training center for the Hallelujah diet down in North Carolina!  Love you mom and can't wait til you come home! :)

[03.19.11]

Supposedly the moon was closest to Earth tonight as it has been in many many moons, hence a tribute to my lunar friend!

[03.18.11] Worhsip practice

Many thanks and love to the worship team at Trinity Baptist Church!

[03.17.11] In honor of my new buds and St. Patricks Day! :)

At last I have some good earbuds to rock to, and some green to wear! :D

[03.16.11] My first possum!

As far as I know, this is the first possum I have ever seen, and in our neighbors yard!  This little guy, so cute, was desperately trying to figure out his whereabouts, hence the in-action shot.

[03.15.11] A bit of green!

A bit of a carry-over from yesterday, here's a bit of green amidst the dismal grays, browns, and whites.  Spring is on the move!  (As in Aslan is on the move.  Yes, I am a Narnia fan.)

[03.14.11] No snow! :)

When taking out the trash this morning, I glanced at our front porch and saw some smashing artistic potential.  Here it is! :)

[03.13.11] Skit time!

Lots of fun working on a crashing airplane skit at church with Maureen, Rachael, Ron, Jim, Jeremy, and big sis Brenna!

[03.12.11] Austin cranking it up at AWANA games!

This guy took gold in a 6 lap marathon run, winning by almost a full lap.  Austin Bolt, perhaps?

[03.11.11] Traffic.........part 2

OK, so I am not a huge dog person, but this guy deserves a place in this blog, or more.  As a result of the traffic being at a standstill (see 03.10.11's pic), his owner opened the door and let him run out into the grass between the north and south bound highways.  Of course everyone in the car was like "How stupid!  My gosh!"  But, to all our surprise, he trotted about, relieved himself, and at his master's call, returned promptly to the car.  Amazingly well trained dog!  Bravo to him and his owner.
Here he his dreaming of a nice brisk run...

[03.10.11] Traffic.........part 1

Due to massive spring thaws, a large part of Interstate 81 South was completely flooded.  Of course after an hour and a half of waiting, by the time we go by, it's completely clear.  Eh, it teaches patience though!

[03.09.11] I love Valley Pool!

Something about pools in general, but especially this one, gives me a thrill.  I love this pool I think mainly because it's where I have learned to swim.  It's very near and dear to my heart, you might say.  Thanks to all the awesome lifeguards too for their huge help and tips in making my swimming way better.

[03.08.11] Kitty Grass!

As a result of horrible breath (cats really can smell terrible), we decided to buy him so kitty grass.  He is eating it up...literally.  OK so that was a lame joke. :D

[03.07.11] The last hurrah of March Snow...remix take two

Hey, if it really is March snow's last hurrah, I have to at least give it a good round of applause for its beauty and magic.  I love you snow, and now we are all seeing you go!  Farewell and see you in a few months!

[03.06.11] The last hurrah of March Snow...remix?

I thought (perhaps foolhardily) that I was seeing the last of March 2011 snow.  Think again, hopeful but stupid Central New Yorker!

[03.05.11] Acid/Base tests with litmus paper!

Late night chem labs = lots of ... fun.  Or something along those lines.

[03.04.11] [no title i can think of...]

Can you spot the random photographer in this one?  *weak lol*

[03.03.11] Even the cat is unimpressed

When a bored Graham takes a picture of himself doing a clap pushup, even his best buddy Googles (my cat) isn't very impressed.  Well, I keep trying! :D

[03.02.11] My gloves...rock?

Yes, this is about as corny as a pic can get, but I am running low on ideas.  Perhaps you have a better one.  Comment or graham.ardner@gmail.com works!

[03.01.11] The last hurrah of March Snow :)

A nice little shot of some snowy trees behind my house.  Good ol' Mother Nature is unleashing one last snow storm on us!

[February 28, 2011] February Precipation

I love the snow in New York, even though we get a lot of it!

[February 27, 2011] A beautiful icicle!

This beautiful stalactite (actually icicle :)) was hanging just outside my bedroom window and was too pretty to pass up!
