[February 27, 2011] A beautiful icicle!

This beautiful stalactite (actually icicle :)) was hanging just outside my bedroom window and was too pretty to pass up!

One Cataclysmic Ice Block!

My close up shots have been interrupted with a natural disaster-of-sorts: a power line down as a result of a mammoth ice block falling from the roof.  All this song and dance (rather trucks and wire) for one ice block!

*Notice the smaller blocks on the porch roof of my (blue) house. >:|

For those of you who can't read Arabic (I can't either :)), the title reads "ice drop"- an apropos title!

Snow and ice...again:)
