[07.13.11] Down at the Lake, Again :)

I was buzzing around on my bike down at the Lake and flew by these guys pooping all over the park.  Not to be gross, but that is all they do, in addition to eating, of course.  So, without even pulling the brake, I just snapped a shot of them, and it turned out all right! :)

[07.12.11] A Wolf in Plywood's Clothing

Actually, the wolf is more in black paint than anything else, but I do see that it is helping to keep geese from the premises down at the Lake.  Whatever works!

[07.11.11] Nocturnal Tree Removal

When out for a walk in the Village, as is my habit to often do, rarely do I chance upon a crew taking down unruly branches hindering telephone lines.  Very curious...

[07.10.11] I See the Moon, and the Moon Sees Me!

I love the moon.  It is so amazing! You can literally see a foreign, extraterrestrial object out in space!  COOL!

[07.09.11] There's an Ant in My Sink!

Well, I do love ants just as much as I love squirrels so they do of course deserve a place in my journal of photography for this year.  :)

[07.08.11]

I didn't even see what this book was about when I passed it in the library on the "New Arrivals" shelf, but the cover caught my eye, as I was once a mega fan of Legos. :)
All things considered, I'd call them up there some pretty buff guys!

[07.07.11] Squirrels Again, I Know

I love squirrels!  If you don't learn anything else about me with all my 365 blog posts, you can know that I am a big fan of squirrels.  Cool little creatures.

[07.06.11] Raspberries

Fruits and berries are a sure sign of summertime, especially anything bright red, like raspberries, strawberries, and of course watermelon!  Here's to summer!

[07.05.11] Sunny Day in July

After a vigorous swim at a local park, I snapped a shot of the sun on a well-worn basketball hoop.  Summer folks! :D

[07.04.11] Happy Fourth!

I enjoyed a great concert tonight with some friends at the fairgrounds and here is a glimpse of the fireworks that followed!  Happy Fourth everyone!

[07.03.11] Just Another Brick in the Wall

Actually, it should be "just another vine on the wall," but either one fits.  I like it!

[07.02.11] Pre-Holiday Fireworks

Yes, it's still two days early, but already they're dusting off the fireworks and trying them out.

[07.01.11] Happy Birthday, Brenna!

My wonderful mom made my way-cool sister this delicious, raw, vegan cake this year for her birthday!  And let me tell ya, it was awesome.  :)

[06.30.11] Spring Forward!

This is an incredible spring located in Elbridge that is tested thrice in a year for quality.  People have been enjoying its incredible taste and refreshing qualities for many years.  Very cool!

[06.29.11] Dirt Truck?

Today I was working at my computer when the sound of machinery caught my attention.  I finally went outside to find the source of the din, and I found this truck.  At first I mistook it for a concrete truck, until it started spraying dirt.  I must say, this is the first dirt truck I've ever seen!

[06.28.11] Tiger Lillies in a Forest

Flowers have always grabbed my eyes, captivated my attention, and drawn my interest.  Hence I took a picture of these beautiful lillies!

[06.26.11] I Love Trees - All New Remix

[06.25.11] A Cute Little Dragonfly on a Cute Little Plant

The title pretty much says it all.  :)

[06.24.11] Earth's Own Market Cafe

Delicious vegan fare from Earth's Own in Liverpool!

[06.23.11] Pedxing?

I have always found the "pedxing" sign a bit odd, as far as the wording goes.  I mean, isn't there a better way to say "people cross here" than some goofy texting-like abbreviation?

[06.22.11] A Cool Trade from Truck to Truck

I was quite surprised at how well these two trucks were orchestrating the trade of some large, unwieldy wooden crate.  Pretty cool though!

[06.21.11] Another Charming Dwelling in Liverpool

While out walking around the village, as I do quite often, I saw this house and noted its uncommon architecture and clean landscaping.  Almost as charming as the dwelling in yesterday's post!  :)

[06.20.11] My Charming Dwelling

Today, when getting out of our car to go inside, I saw how nice our house looked in the golden-hour of lighting.  So, I snapped a shot!

[06.19.11] My Van Is Jacked!

Of course, it is only jacked because of a flat tire, but still, close enough!  For those not familiar with the phrase, jacked is another name for someone very muscular, similar to buff, built, or ripped.  :D

[06.18.11] My Name's Mater!

When driving by a remote car repair shop, I spied Mater (a character from Cars) hanging out on the corner!

[06.17.11] Random Flora

I do love plants of every kind, and this one caught my attention today.  Just another little wonder God has created for people like me.  :)

[06.16.11] The Old Bamboo

On a remote, gravel road out in the country I chanced upon these lovely bamboo plants.  How cool is that!

[06.08.11] My FAVORITE Place to Eat!

For some very odd and very irksome reason, I cannot get this picture to rotate on my blog.  When in the folder, the picture is fine.  When on the blog, it rotates itself.  Trust me, I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to get it to work, with no avail (obviously).  Anyhow, if you don't mind tilting your head 90 degrees, you can see that Chipotle is my ultimate favorite eatery.  My mouth waters at the thought. :)

[06.15.11] A Tree

You know, I'm not even going to apologize for the lame name.  It's up to your imagination to think of a better one.  :)

[06.14.11] A House

For whatever reason, I seem to be stuck on lame names.  Lame names are the name of the game for me.  Oh well.  Any better idea for the post title?

[06.13.11] Squirrel on a Tree

Yeah, I really got creative with the title on this post.  But hey, it does do the job.  Here is a squirrel on a tree.  I love squirrels even more than I love trees (see the posts from May 15th, June 9th, and June 12th).  :D

[06.12.11] I Love Trees Second Remix

Another tie back to the May 15th post.  Aren't trees just the coolest things ever?!?  Oh yeah!

[06.11.11] This Apple is the Star of the Show

I tell you, reader, the moment I cut this apple, I was star-struck.  Alright, that was a very lame joke.  Anyhow, I do love apples, and I do love the star pattern in the middle!

[06.10.11] My Clothesline Pole

Sometimes it's fun to just fool around with things not made specifically for fooling around with, such as a clothesline pole.  I do freely admit it is a blast to climb!

[06.09.11] I Love Trees Remix

For those faithful readers out there that also possess a good memory, you might realize that this post's title is the same (sans "remix") as May 15th's.  And yes, I do love trees.  Always have and always will.  :)

[06.07.11] Brenna, Brenna, and Boyce

How cool is that!  The name of my big sis (Brenna) on a public sign.  Hmmm, very nice.  :)

[06.06.11] Syracuse Sunset

Yes, the photo is much more beautiful than the title, but then again, what can really match the wonder of a sunset?

[06.05.11] Help!

What do you do when your friend is trying to kill you?  Set your camera on a bench and do a delayed timershot, of course!

[06.04.11] Double Pushup

While working at the NYS LEAH conference, there were some dry times between jobs and meals, so naturally, I had to find something to do, and my friend Aaron was a big help.  Here we are trying to do a double pushup, with a 0% success rate.  Oh well...

[06.03.11] Tascam!

While working at the NYS LEAH conference, I was given the job of recording several speaker sessions using a Tascam recording unit.  Fun...sorta.  :D

[06.02.11] Boxing Hall of Fame

As my uncle is a large boxing fan (in fact he used to box for Golden Gloves in his younger years), the Boxing Hall of Fame seemed a natural tourist destination on his visit.  Here is a display of assorted boxing paraphernalia.

[06.01.11] Boldt Castle

As I mentioned in Monday's post, my uncle has come out to visit, and Friday we went to see Alexandria Bay.  We then took a boat tour around the Thousand Islands and toured Boldt Castle.  Here is one of the many photos I took that day.  I've compiled a separate page for his visit and the photos I took at Alex Bay and Buttermilk Falls, which we visited Saturday.

[05.31.11] Uncle Bobby's in Town!

My uncle and my mom together for the first time in many years.  Yay for Uncle Bobby!  :)Today we went up to Alexandria Bay for a boat tour and some other various sightseeing.  As I took a great deal of great shots, I will be posting them as photo-of-the-day over the next few days.  Check back!

[05.30.11] Chess, anyone?

I do freely admit I was thoroughly enjoying boring my readers with pictures of trash and similar things, but I have abandoned that series, mainly because I fear I will have no readers in a very short time.  Thus, here is something more interesting: a over scaled chess set in Alex Bay.  How cool is that! (very cool)

[05.29.11] Trash Time III

What a monstrous heap of pallets!  Looks like a good bonfire in the works to me, but the dumpster gives away a more sinister, ulterior motive...rubbish removal.

[05.28.11] Trash Time II

As I warned in yesterday's post, I will be posting some trashy pics for a few days, this being the second.  Hope you enjoy!

[05.27.11] Trash Time I

I have had this infatuation with dumpsters the last several days, so much so that I scoured Google Image Search for all things dumpster and modeled one in 3D.  I'll have to post it sometime, and when I do, I'll note it in a comment.  So, anyhow, you can expect to find garbage-related things these next couple days. :D

[05.26.11] A Charming Dwelling in Liverpool

I was out for a stroll in my excellent village and came upon this nice little house.  Note the contrast in colors and excellent landscaping.  Ahh, very nice. :)

[05.25.11] Summer Is Almost Here

Green grass = sure sign of summer.  Yay!!!

[05.24.11] Windsor's Piano Recital

Windsor rocked today in her piano recital.  Great job Winds on your playing today, as well as your all-A's-no-C's (perfect score) on your Guild pieces.
