This is where I'll be posting the 365 pictures I will take throughout the year of 2011, one each day.

[05.13.11] Olden Tree
This is pretty much the coolest tree in my neighborhood, so it of course got a whole day's worth of the photo journal coverage. :D
[05.12.11] The Random Photographer's Shadow
While out riding around town I snapped a shot of me and my bike. Another glimpse into "a day in the life."
[05.11.11] What a Strange Rim for a Car
While out browsing a car lot, my mom was commenting how terribly ugly these rims are. I found that to be quite humorous, and so did my mom once I explained that these are just plastic covers to protect the rims in shipment. For you car buffs out there trying to guess make and model, I'll give you a hint: this car is a VW.
[05.10.11] Tulip Time!
While out for a walk this morning with mum and Windsor, I chanced upon these beautiful blooms. Of course I had my trusty Canon with me, so I snapped quite a few shots. Tulips are a sure sign of spring!
[05.09.11] Chipping hammer + concrete + me = tired me and chipped concrete
After enduring several hours with this bad boy, the fence post was still impregnable. Soooooo...I am going to sawzall it and call it a day. Tomorrow that is. This was taken at 9:00 p.m.
[05.08.11] AWANA Award Ceremony!
Here is a shot from this year's Awana award ceremony at our church. As a result of completing two books in one year, she got two different awards. For those not in the know, Awana is an international Bible club for children. Typically a child will complete the one book for the year, but because Windsor started a year late, she worked twice as hard and got two done! Bravo kiddo! :)
[05.07.11] A stack of old tires
I still can't figure out why people make it a habit to leave old tires out in remote places. The cost of dropping a load at the dump versus finding a place to dump is far lower. What people do to avoid the rules is interesting.

[05.05.11] The BEST cookie ever!
It didn't occur to me until I was wiping the toothsome crumbs from my mouth that the cookie would be a good blog shot. So I decided to get a shot next time I get one, and settle for the package this time. I can't wait to try out the espresso chip, coconut macadamia chocolate, and all the other delicious varieties available. For those who would like one, I bought it at Natur-Tyme for about $2.00. Little tip: best two dollars you'll ever spend. ;)
[05.04.11] Barley Max Phenomena
This is barley max drink (see hacres.com) with the drink mix still in the shape of the teaspoon floating on top. Surprisingly, when I tapped it with my finger to dissolve it, it was quite strong and didn't sink easily. Gotta love surface tension.
[05.03.11] Teasicles
Pronounced tea-si-cle. Noun. When tea of any type is frozen in such a way that resembles a Popsicle or other such frozen treat on a stick. In this case, Windsor and her little neighbor friends enjoying a peach tea variety. Homemade too! :)
[05.02.11] A sinister concrete monstrosity
Something about the concrete construction, dumpster, random stock car, and high razor-wire fence adds to the sinistery.
[05.01.11] A rusty old truck
I came across this rusty old vehicle, and I was immediately interested. I have a strange innate interest in old, rusty cars and trucks, mainly because they are usually older, and I see the potential in restoring them and keeping history alive. One day I will take some time and restore one. :)
[04.30.11] A few springy boquets
My mom has a knack for nursing sickly plants back to health, and Windsor loves picking assorted flowers outside, so pictured here is an assortment of the flora in our home.
[04.29.11] Hmm...what's in here?
This little squirrel just can't keep his head out of the flowerpots. Finally I captured his caper to be forever etched in time; or at least temporarily etched in my camera memory card. :D
